How do I match a price?
Simply let our team know before you purchase:
- In-store: Speak to one of our friendly team members.
- Online: Chat with our team via live chat before making your purchase. If
you’re shopping
outside of business hours, you’ll be able to leave your details and
we’ll contact you.
What will you be able to
price match?
We will match a lower price if:
- The product is identical, including the same brand, size, colour
and specification.
- The product is in stock at the retailer’s store or website.
- We can verify the availability and price of the product.
- The retailer has a physical retail store in Australia or
New Zealand.
Are there any exclusions?
Yes, our price match promise does not apply to:
- Products:
- From a rack, warehouse sale, clearance outlet, discount
department store, fire sale,
liquidation sale, auction site, duty free store or similar;
- That are sold through a third party or marketplace seller;
- That are second-hand, refurbished, imperfect or a
demonstration model;
- Not part of the current range available at David Jones.
- Gift cards.
- Pricing errors.
- Offers that are only available by using loyalty points, vouchers,
coupons, third-party
discount codes, cashback apps or similar at the retailer.
Are there any other conditions?
Yes, a price match is:
- Available only on the final price of the product, exclusive of
delivery fees.
- Available only when agreed prior to purchase, at the time at which it
was agreed.
- Limited to stores in the same country.

Promise does not extend to stand-alone online retailers, auctions, fire or liquidation sales,
rack, clearance, warehouse outlets, duty free stores and 3rd party membership discounts or
